Tree #134

No one should try to identify the species—
I made it up, fast and furious. Felt good. 7-18-12

Trees #129–133

 A tree. 7-9-12

Scribbled a tree in our neighbor's backyard at dusk. 7-12-12

 A mini tree? 7-14-12

I walked around Wall Park Lake at dusk and stopped at a bench
to sketch this very large tree. (Top is not really shown.) It was dusk,
but I thought I'd just do a very quick one. But it got dark much
faster than I realized, or was I was there much longer than I realized?
Probably the latter. When I'm sketching, time gets away from me.
Finally, I had to quit, because I could barely see my page. 7-15-12

A few branches from our backyard pear tree. Somehow, the squirrels
haven't eaten them all yet. We better hurry to get them "harvested!" 7-17-12

Trees #127–128

View of the trees from the glider on our patio. 7-6-12

View at dusk of the backyard from inside our sunroom.
In the center is that poor dead pine tree. 7-7-12

Tree #125–126

This is a portion of the Redbud tree in the front yard
with foliage in the flower bed beneath. As can be seen
by the dates, I haven't done my sketch every single day.
But I'm consistently inconsistent. 6-28-12

This is my "contemplation" seat that I placed, just so, at the base
of one of the Silver Maples in the backyard. I've always
told myself, when I'm in a hurry and rushing to get somewhere,
I would sit there sometime when I had time. Now the
seat is very dirty, and I have never taken the time to go out
there with a rag. So, I have never sat in my "comtemplation"
seat... 7-2-12
